Eugene Atget

After the Thanksgiving break my class we hopefully be viewing the photos of Eugene Atget at the Eastman House Collection. I was skimming through his photos and found that the emptiness and object set up reminded me of my mall negatives. His images tell me that at least to Eugene, Paris at the time was a dingy metropolis and at certain hours voided of citizens. Unfortunately I can’t post his photos right now? I think they may have copyright protection on the internet. But I have a link for a photo gallery of his work.
